Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexer(CWDM)can save the cost of optical resources and networking effectively.At the same time, It solves two issues that the shortage of fiber and multi-service transparent transmission.CWDM mainly apply in MAN aggregation and access layer.It can build networks and business in a short time . 1.Using the the most advanced 3R technology(reamplifying、reshaping and retiming)to make sure the long-distance signal transmission.

4.At present,using the single-mode optical fiber transmission can achieve 8-channel multiplexed.at the same time, the transfer rate of each channel can reach 2.5Gbit/s, With the channels increase,, the rate also on the rise and the total capacity up to 20Gbit / s. It can upgrade to 18 channels if using the full-wave fiber optic lines.and each channel rate of up to 10Gbit / s, a total capacity of up to 180Gbit / s.
